Our members range from professional athletes to some of the youngest and oldest members of our community, no matter what your ability or level of fitness, you will get a warm welcome and quickly become part of our fitness family. Our introduction into fitness and weight loss programmes have run very successfully for over 6 years and bring together groups of people that are new to fitness, eases you into the gym setting, creates healthier eating/lifestyle routines and habits, making health and fitness a way of life.
We are situated on one level right from the car park through to every inch of the gym and service areas.Our equipment is spaced out to provide easy access to members with limited physical abilities and our friendly staff are always available to assist
We are open from 6am to 9.30pm weekdays and 7am to 4pm on weekends. Our classes run early mornings for that pre-work calorie burn, mid-morning classes for busy parents and shift workers, lunch time blast for those wanting an active lunch hour and a wide range of evening classes. A range of our classes are live online for the times you are unable to attend the gym.
We regularly organise teams of runners to attend events like theVery Muddy obstacle course race,iNVNCBL, road runs like the Cardiff ST David’s 10km, Cardiff half marathon and the Mo Run to mention but a few. We train in preparation as a team and run as a team!
We are local people ourselves and believe in supporting our local economy. We employ local people and use local suppliers and businesses such as Gain Nutrition for our supplements, CC Sports for our clothing, Ross Perkins Waste management, INVNCBL race series with many more on the horizon.
With the help of Business Wales we have adopted the goal of being Carbon Neutral. We have started with recycling bins to separate our waste from recycling. We provide free chilled water to our members and any members of the public that would like to fill their re-usable bottles which we will also sell to promote less plastic waste. We use energy efficient lights and our building is heated by a biomass heating system using waste materials to reduce the use of fossil fuel. We actively encourage our members to car share or cycle with monthly prize draws. We are also actively adopting the Business Wales Green Growth Pledge.
At Evolution Fitness we understand that mental well-being is just as important as physical health. We have successfully used mindfulness sessions as part of our fitness programmes and we aim to expand our mental well-being focus across all areas of the gym as we expand, making mental health a core value of our service.
